Historical note
During the Soviet period, this building housed the Executive Committee of the Yaremcha City Council of People’s Deputies. Yaremcha was a prominent climatic resort of Soviet importance, making the local council a key administrative body overseeing numerous sanatoriums and tourist facilities.
Present day
Today, the building on Svobody Street continues to house the Yaremche City Council (Yaremchanska Miska Rada). The facade has been modernized: Soviet symbols have been removed, the national flag of Ukraine is raised, and the roof and facade have been renovated.
