Historical note

Present day

Today, the complex is known as the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War. In 2023, the Soviet emblem on the shield was replaced with the Ukrainian trident (tryzub), and the monument was officially renamed ‘Ukraine-Mother’.
