Historical note
Myrhorod resort was founded in 1917 through the initiative of Ivan Zubkovsky, a local doctor who discovered the healing properties of the local mineral water. Building No. 2 was a vital component of the resort infrastructure, which expanded rapidly in the post-war decades to accommodate tourists from across the USSR.
Present day
Today, the resort continues to operate as one of Ukraine’s leading medical and wellness centers. The historical buildings and the surrounding landscape park are well-maintained and undergo regular modernizations to meet contemporary standards of sanatorium-resort treatment.
