What is shown on the postcard
The front of the postcard features three photographs. The left side shows a panorama of the “Azot” production facilities with pipeline overpasses, distillation columns, and a chimney stack. The top right corner depicts a green area in front of the administrative building with a stele topped by the Roman numeral XXV. The bottom right corner shows the interior of the tractor spare parts factory workshop with a worker at a control panel.
Historical note
The Rivne Chemical Plant (later the “Azot” Production Association) was commissioned in 1969, becoming one of the largest producers of mineral fertilizers in the Ukrainian SSR. The Rivne Tractor Spare Parts Plant, established around the same period, supplied components for Soviet agricultural machinery manufacturing.
Present day
Currently, PJSC “Rivneazot” is part of the Ostchem holding and continues to operate as a chemical enterprise. The Rivne Tractor Spare Parts Plant underwent privatization and restructuring, changing its production profile and scale.
