Historical note
The construction of the Palace of Pioneers in Kyiv took place between 1962 and 1965, based on a design by architects A. Miletsky and E. Bilsky. The grand opening of the complex, located on the slopes of the Dnieper River near Slavy Square, took place in 1965. The building was designed to accommodate over 2,600 children simultaneously and includes numerous hobby clubs, laboratories, and a concert hall.
Present day
Currently, the complex operates as the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth. The building has preserved its original modernist architectural appearance, interior mosaic panels, and outdoor layout, serving as a local architectural monument.
