Historical note
The Palace of Culture of Builders was erected during the Soviet era to provide cultural and recreational activities for the city’s construction workers. During the 1970s and 1980s, it hosted public events, film screenings, and various creative clubs. At the time of the photograph (1973), the city was named Voroshilovgrad.
Present day
Today, the building retains its original architectural appearance and continues to serve as a cultural venue. The tram network along Oboronna Street, shown on the postcard, is currently non-operational.
