Historical note

The wide-format “Yubileyny” cinema was opened in 1967 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution, serving as the city’s main cultural venue. The nearby T-34 tank monument was erected to honor the Soviet troops who liberated Krasnodon in February 1943. The “Severnoye Siyaniye” cafe was a popular dining spot during the 1970s and 1980s.

Present day

Today, the former “Yubileyny” cinema building has ceased its original operations, with its spaces repurposed for commercial use. The T-34 tank monument on Pobeda Square remains preserved in its historical location.
