Historical note
Mineral Water Pump Room No. 2 was built in Truskavets in the 1970s (opened in 1971) to serve the rapidly expanding upland sanatorium district. The circular layout of the building allowed convenient, high-capacity flow of visitors to access therapeutic mineral waters, including ‘Naftusia’, ‘Mariia’, ‘Sofiia’, and ‘Bronislava’.
Present day
Currently, Pump Room No. 2 is temporarily non-operational for its original purpose, with mineral water distribution consolidated at Pump Room No. 1 in the central park. The building retains its original Soviet modernist architectural features but requires restoration.
