What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The “Pylon of Glory” memorial was opened in Luhansk (then Voroshilovgrad) in 1965 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of victory in World War II. The names of Heroes of the Soviet Union and Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory from the Luhansk region are carved on its faces. The Grave of the Unknown Soldier was established and the Eternal Flame was lit in front of the pylon.
Present day
The memorial complex remains intact today in the Square of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War in the center of Luhansk, serving as a key location for commemorative and remembrance events.
