Historical note
The building was constructed between 1909 and 1911 based on a design by architect Pavel Aleshin for the Pedagogical Museum. In 1937, the Kyiv branch of the Central V.I. Lenin Museum opened here, remaining in these premises until moving to a new building on European Square in 1982.
Present day
Today, the historic building houses the Kyiv City Teacher’s House, along with the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine and the Museum of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921.
