What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The ‘Lileya’ tourist base was constructed during the Soviet era to accommodate tourists visiting Kherson via all-Union and local travel routes. The complex was situated in a scenic location on the bank of the Dnieper River, near the Prydniprovskyi Park (Park of Glory). During the Soviet period, the base provided accommodation for visitors, offering access to an equipped beach, a boat station, and excursion programs along the Dnieper wetlands.
Present day
In the post-Soviet period, the complex changed ownership and operated for a long time as a popular water-sports and entertainment venue featuring a beach and a restaurant of the same name. In later years, the site underwent partial reconstruction and fell into neglect, yet the location remains a well-known landmark on Kherson’s waterfront map.
