Historical note
The “Kosmos” cinema was opened in Rivne in 1965 on Moskovska Street (now Stepana Bandery Street). The cinema quickly became a prominent local cultural hub, featuring a modern auditorium and advanced projection equipment for its time.
Present day
During the post-Soviet period, the cinema ceased its original operations. In the 1990s, the building was transferred to a religious community and underwent renovation. Today, the former cinema building at 26 Stepana Bandery Street serves as the “Zorya Spasinnya” (Dawn of Salvation) Christian Church.
