Historical note

The Myrhorod Department Store was constructed during the Soviet era as part of the modernization of the town’s retail infrastructure. The building is a typical example of Soviet modernism from the 1960s–1970s, characterized by ribbon glazing on the second floor and spacious display windows on the ground level.

Present day

Today, the building retains its commercial function, having undergone facade and interior renovations. It now houses various retail shops, a supermarket, and other commercial enterprises. While the surrounding area remains well-kept, the historic look of the square has evolved significantly.
