What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The transport bridge, known as the Masaryk Bridge, was designed when Subcarpathian Rus was part of Czechoslovakia. Construction took place in the 1930s to connect the developing government quarter of Galagov with the left bank of the river. The bridge survived World War II, suffering only minor damage during the retreat of German forces in October 1944, after which it was quickly restored.
Present day
Today, the Tomáš Masaryk Bridge remains a key transport artery of Uzhhorod, connecting Bohdan Khmelnytsky Square with Nezalezhnosti Embankment. The architectural style of the bridge and the scenic panorama of the Uzh River with its adjacent park zones preserve their historical appearance.
