What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The V. I. Lenin Dendropark was established in Odesa during the 1960s on former wastelands. It was designed by a team of landscape architects led by M. Y. Sereda. The park’s main engineering feature was a complex system of artificial ponds with a closed-loop water circulation system. During the Soviet period, it was considered a prime example of modern landscape architecture.
Present day
Following the restoration of Ukraine’s independence, the park was renamed Victory Park. In the 2000s and 2010s, a major reconstruction of the ponds was carried out, including cleaning the pond beds and updating the water circulation system. Today, the park remains a protected monument of landscape art of national importance.
