Historical note
The Tourist Hotel complex was built in Minsk in 1973. The building design was developed by the well-known architect L. Pogorelov. The hotel was constructed by order of Soviet tourism authorities to accommodate domestic and foreign tourist groups. The architecture of the complex is a classic example of early 1970s Soviet modernism, featuring a clear division between the residential high-rise block and the functional podium that housed the restaurant, lobby, and administrative services.
Present day
Currently, the Tourist Hotel continues to operate for its original purpose, preserving the authentic look of its facades. The interiors and guest rooms have been modernized to meet contemporary hospitality standards. The building is located in the Partizansky District of Minsk, directly next to the “Partizanskaya” metro station.
