What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The Zorya Hotel was constructed during the Soviet era to accommodate visitors to the rapidly growing industrial center. Syrovets Street (now Shevchenko Avenue) was one of the city’s main transportation and administrative corridors. The local tramway system, opened in 1935, played a key role in transporting workers to the metallurgical plant and other enterprises.
Present day
Today, the Zorya Hotel continues to operate, preserving its recognizable architectural style, though some spaces are rented out as offices. Syrovets Street has been renamed Shevchenko Avenue and remains a major transit corridor in Kamianske with active tram service.
