Historical note
Founded in the late 19th century, the Dnieper Metallurgical Plant became one of the largest metallurgical enterprises in the Ukrainian SSR during the Soviet era. Present day
Today, the enterprise continues to operate under the name Kamet-Steel (formerly Dnieper Metallurgical Plant). The plant remains a key industrial asset of Kamianske, preserving its primary specialization, though many technological processes and equipment have been modernized or decommissioned.
