Historical note
The Dnipro Sanatorium was designed in the Soviet architectural modernism style and opened in 1977. Its unusual cascading silhouette, resembling the deck of an ocean liner or a stepped pyramid, became one of the landmarks of Soviet-era architecture in Truskavets. The health resort specialized in treating digestive and urinary tract disorders using the local “Naftusia” mineral water.
Present day
Currently, the building operates as part of the Dnipro-Beskyd Sanatorium and Hotel Complex. While the main residential wing has largely retained its original modernist architectural forms, the surrounding grounds have been landscaped, and the interiors updated to meet contemporary hospitality standards.
