What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The “Pernik” restaurant was opened at the “Voroshilovgrad” hotel (later renamed “Luhansk”) and was named after the Bulgarian sister city of Pernik. The hotel and restaurant complex became a key element of the modernist development in the central part of the city during the 1970s and 1980s. The Indoor Market, commissioned in the 1970s, was an advanced engineering structure for its time, featuring a large-span dome roof that provided a column-free interior layout for the market hall.
Present day
Today, the Luhansk Hotel building and the adjoining former restaurant spaces retain their structural forms, though the “Pernik” sign has been removed and the interior spaces repurposed. The Central Market building continues to operate for its original purpose, remaining one of the primary commercial hubs in the city.
