Historical note
The building was constructed in 1901 as Villa “Sariusz” in the Art Nouveau style with elements of Carpathian wooden architecture (motifs of the Zakopane style). During the Soviet period, it housed the Resort Administration of Truskavets, which managed the numerous health resorts and balneological clinics of the famous spa destination.
Present day
In December 1982, the Museum of the History of Truskavets was opened within the walls of the former villa. The building is designated as an architectural monument of local significance and has fully preserved its historic wooden decor, remaining one of the key landmarks of the town center.
