Historical note
The first railway station building in Kherson was constructed in 1907, but it was heavily damaged during World War World II. The current monumental station building, captured on this postcard, was erected in 1953 according to the design of architect L. M. Chupryna.
Present day
Today, the Kherson railway station building preserves its historical architectural style, serving as an important transport hub in southern Ukraine. The station continues to operate passenger services despite modern infrastructure challenges.
