Historical note
The Luhansk Pedagogical Institute was founded in 1923 as the Donets Higher Pedagogical Courses. Present day
Today, this building houses the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The architectural design of the building, including its semi-circular rotunda, has been largely preserved, and the structure is recognized as a local architectural monument.
