Historical note
The ‘Mir’ Palace of Culture (resort Palace of Culture) served as a primary cultural hub in Soviet-era Truskavets. The venue hosted concerts, movie screenings, lectures, and artistic events for both local residents and tourists staying at the town’s numerous sanatoriums.
Present day
In the post-Soviet period, the ‘Mir’ Palace of Culture on Kobzar Square ceased operations. The building has remained abandoned for many years, suffering from neglect and requiring major redevelopment or reconstruction.
