What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
Filipp Petrovich Lyutikov led the Krasnodon party underground, which worked closely with the “Young Guard” youth resistance group. In January 1943, he was arrested by occupation forces and executed after severe torture. Monuments dedicated to his memory and to the mining profession represent key components of the local heritage, deeply rooted in the coal mining history of the Donbas region.
Present day
Today, the city of Sorokyne (renamed in 2016 under decommunization laws, formerly Krasnodon) retains part of its Soviet-era memorial landscape, although many industrial facilities have undergone structural changes or ceased operation. The miner monuments and underground resistance memorials remain local landmarks.
