Historical note

During Ukraine’s independence, the hotel complex was renamed back to its original planned name, “Ukraina”. The building has preserved its unique architectural style, mosaic panels, and original silhouette, and is listed as a local architectural monument. The surrounding square and fountain were altered during subsequent urban renovations.
