Historical note
Zelena Street is one of the major thoroughfares of Lviv, connecting the historic city center with the southeastern districts. During the late 1960s and early 1970s, this area underwent intensive development with multi-story residential blocks and dormitories designed for workers of Lviv’s growing industrial enterprises. The building shown on the postcard is a typical example of residential architecture from the era of mass industrial construction.
Present day
Today, the nine-story building at 115 Zelena Street continues to serve its residential and commercial purposes. The premises of the former Soviet grocery store and the surrounding area now house modern retail shops, pharmacies, and offices. The road infrastructure on Zelena Street has been upgraded to meet modern transport standards.
