Historical note
The Old Stock Exchange building was designed by the prominent architect Francesco Boffo and built between 1829 and 1834. It underwent a major reconstruction in 1871–1873 under Franz Morandi, which enclosed the inner courtyard. Since the Soviet era, the building has served as the headquarters for municipal governance.
Present day
Today, the building fully retains its historical appearance and continues to house the Odesa City Council. Recognized as an architectural monument of national significance, it remains one of the primary highlights near Primorsky Boulevard.
