Historical note
The sculpture was created in the 19th century by the French animalier sculptor Auguste Cain. Originally brought to Odesa to decorate a private estate, the bronze figures were relocated to the City Garden on Derybasivska Street in 1927.
Present day
Today, the sculpture group is fully restored and remains a popular landmark in the historic center of Odesa, drawing numerous visitors to the City Garden.
