Historical note
Construction of the Trinity Cathedral began in 1835, designed by architect A. I. Zakharov. The cathedral was consecrated in 1861. During the Soviet era, in the 1930s, the building was repurposed for the House of the Red Army and later housed a factory club. In the 1980s, after reconstruction, the Organ Music Hall was opened in the building.
In 1989, when this photograph was taken, the cathedral was already functioning as a concert hall, retaining its architectural integrity.
Present day
The Trinity Cathedral building in Dnipro continues to serve as a cultural center. It houses the Dnipro Regional Philharmonic named after Sergei Kogan, where classical music concerts are held, including organ performances.
