What is shown on the postcard

Historical note

The Kyiv Hotel building in Poltava, located at the intersection of Zhovtneva (now Sobornosti) and Novosinna (now Sinna) streets, was constructed during the Soviet era. It served as one of the primary accommodation venues for visitors to the regional center in the 1970s.

Present day

Today, the building retains its basic architectural form, but its primary function has changed. The Soviet-era symbols and signs have been removed, and the premises are now occupied by commercial offices and retail stores.
