Historical note
The building was constructed in 1909–1911 based on the design of architect Pavel Aleshin for the Pedagogical Museum. In 1917–1918, it housed the Ukrainian Central Rada. From 1934 to 1982, the Kyiv branch of the Central V.I. Lenin Museum operated here.
Present day
Today, the building is known as the Kyiv City Teacher’s House. It is designated as an architectural and historical monument and also houses the Museum of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921.
