What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The Adam Mickiewicz Monument in Lviv was solemnly unveiled on October 30, 1904. The author of the design was the sculptor Antoni Popiel. The monument is designed as a Tuscan column topped with a gilded flame. The figures of the poet and the winged genius are cast in bronze.
Present day
In the modern period, the Mickiewicz monument is recognized as a monument of national importance in Ukraine. It has fully retained its original appearance and remains one of the key tourist landmarks in Lviv’s historic center.
