Historical note

The Kirovohrad branch of the state design institute “Ukrgorstroyproekt” (“Ukrmiskbudproekt”) played a key role in urban planning and designing residential districts, public buildings, and infrastructure in Kirovohrad and the surrounding region during the second half of the 20th century. The branch building was specifically constructed to accommodate the institute’s architects, engineers, and designers.

Present day

Today, the building is preserved at 6 Viacheslava Chornovola Street. The premises are utilized as an office and administrative center, housing various commercial businesses and public services. In 2016, the city of Kirovohrad was renamed Kropyvnytskyi.
