Historical note
The building at 1 Lanzheronivska Street historically served as the administrative headquarters of the Black Sea Shipping Company (BLASCO), which was the largest shipping enterprise in the USSR and one of the oldest on the Black Sea. Built during the Soviet period, it integrated into the architectural landscape of central Odesa, situated close to Primorsky Boulevard and the Opera House.
Present day
Today, the building retains its historic facade and is recognized as a local architectural monument. It stands in the historical heart of Odesa, serving as a reminder of the city’s prominent maritime heritage in the 20th century.
