What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The architectural ensemble of the square on Primorsky (formerly Mykolaivsky) Boulevard was designed in the first half of the 19th century. The semicircular Classicist buildings were constructed between 1827 and 1830, based on designs by architects Francesco Boffo and Avraam Melnikov. The monument to the Duke, created by sculptor Ivan Martos, was unveiled in 1828 and remains Odesa’s oldest monument.
Present day
Today, the architectural complex of the square retains its historical appearance and is designated as a cultural heritage site of Ukraine. The boulevard area is now a fully pedestrian zone.
