What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
Intensive residential construction in this part of Rivne took place during the 1970s. Gagarin Avenue and Dozortseva Avenue formed the city’s new modern residential microdistricts, providing housing for workers of local industrial enterprises. The avenues were designed according to contemporary urban planning standards, featuring wide streets, green spaces, and a developed ground-floor retail network.
Present day
During Ukraine’s independence, the avenues were renamed. Yuri Gagarin Avenue became Knyaza Romana Street, and Liza Dozortseva Avenue was renamed Vidynska Street. While the overall Soviet modernist architectural character remains, the ground floors of these buildings have been extensively remodeled for various private commercial businesses.
