What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The Rivne Flax Combine, founded in 1960 and opened in 1963, was the largest light industry enterprise in the Ukrainian SSR. The ‘Weaver’ monument was installed on its grounds to symbolize the region’s prominent textile industry. The enterprise featured a highly developed social infrastructure, including its own recreation areas, winter gardens, and medical facilities for employees.
Present day
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the combine went through a period of decline. However, in the early 2000s, the facilities were partially privatized and modernized under the ‘Goldi’ brand. The ‘Weaver’ monument has been preserved on the historical territory of the enterprise on Fabrychna Street, remaining an iconic industrial landmark of Rivne.
