What is shown on the postcard

Historical note
The 50 Years of October Avenue was actively developed during the 1960s and 1970s to expand Chernivtsi’s residential capacity. This area served as an example of Soviet-era microdistrict planning, featuring wide streets, trolleybus lines, and integrated commercial spaces.
Present day
Today, the avenue has been renamed Independence Avenue (Prospekt Nezalezhnosti). The ground floors of the buildings continue to host commercial shops. While the local infrastructure has been modernized, the overall architectural appearance of these Soviet-era brick residential buildings remains largely unchanged.
